How to Find Your YouTube Channel Name and Channel ID for UAE’s Video Widget
This guide helps you find your YouTube Channel Name and Channel ID to configure the YouTube Subscribe Bar in Ultimate Addons for Elementor’s (UAE) Video widget. Once set up, a “Subscribe to Channel” button will appear at the bottom of embedded videos on your site. Read How to Display YouTube Subscribe Bar for Video?
NOTE: This is not a general YouTube account guide. These steps are specifically for retrieving the values needed to connect UAE’s Subscribe Bar to your channel.
Find YouTube Channel Name
If you have registered your channel name on the YouTube, you can use it to link subscribe button on the video. Below are the detailed steps to get YouTube channel name –
- Log in to your YouTube account at www.youtube.com, then
- Click on the profile icon/thumbnail image on the upper right corner and select Creator Studio.
- Click View Channel (shown below your channel name)
- Now observe the URL. The name will appear in the URL as shown in below screenshot. Copy this value and paste it into the Channel Name field in the UAE Video widget settings.
Find YouTube Channel ID
To find the Channel ID follow the steps below –
- Log in to your YouTube account at www.youtube.com, then:
- Visit a link https://www.youtube.com/account_advanced
- You will see YouTube Channel ID. Refer the following screenshot. Copy this value and paste it into the Channel ID field in the UAE Video widget settings.
Which Should I Use — Channel Name or Channel ID?
Either works to connect the subscribe button in UAE. If your Channel Name contains special characters or spaces, using the Channel ID is more reliable.
