How to Translate UAE Content Using WPML’s ‘Translate Everything’ Feature

Step 1: Install and Configure WPML

1. Download WPML: After purchasing the WPML Multilingual CMS plugin, download the zip file from your WPML account.
2. Install WPML: Upload the zip file to your WordPress dashboard and activate it.

Step 2: WPML Setup Wizard

1. Select Languages: In the WPML setup wizard, choose the languages you want to translate your site into by clicking the + icon. Click the Continue button.
   
   
   
   
2. Configure URL Format: Choose your site’s URL format for different languages (e.g., subdirectories or subdomains) and click Continue.
   
   
   
   
3. Register WPML: Enter your site key from your WPML account to enable automatic updates. Click Continue.
   
   
   

Step 3: Set Translation Mode

With WPML, you can automatically translate everything on your site. Or, automatically translate some content using the Translate Some mode. 

1. Navigate to WPML → Settings.
2. Choose your preferred translation mode:
   • Translate Everything (recommended): Automatically translate all UAE content, including sections, widgets, and modules, without needing manual intervention.
   • Translate Some: Select specific content for translation.
3. In the Translate Everything mode, you can choose:
   • Review before publishing: Ideal for ensuring quality.
   • Publish translations and review later: Best for large amounts of content where immediate publishing is required.
   • Publish translations without review: Fastest option, but translations may have inaccuracies.
4. Once you’ve made your selection, click Continue. WPML will begin translating your UAE content automatically.
   
   

Step 4: Monitor and Review Translations

• After the translation is complete, click Finish in the WPML setup wizard.
• Check the Automatic Translation Status to ensure all content has been translated.
• For manual review, open a translation job in the Advanced Translation Editor. Click the blue Translate Automatically button to fill in translations instantly.
